Attorney Joseph Loss graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in 1973. He graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1978. Attorney Loss has been in private practice since 1981, with an extensive background in litigation before the Circuit Court of Cook and DuPage Counties defending corporate insureds and before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Attorney Martin Michalski graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in History and English Literature in 2001. In San Diego, CA, he earned his law degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He also earned a certificate in Global Legal Studies from the iconic Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.

Mr. Michalski prides himself on speaking fluent Polish and being an active member of the Polish community. Martin’s passion outside of the law is Military History, especially as it pertains to the plight of the Polish people throughout the centuries.

Initially destined for a career as a historian, Martin interned at the Auschwitz State Museum in Oswiecim, Poland, as a museum-guide and research assistant. He began his legal practice as an intern at the Warsaw and Paris offices of the prestigious and internationally recognized law firm of Gide Loyrette & Nouel. Outside of the office, Mr. Michalski races BMX and spending quality time with his family.
